As we left the house yesterday, thinking we'd be coming home with a baby, I was soooo upset at how messy and disheveled our house was. We haven't had the carpets or furniture cleaned. The laundry is piled up. Dishes fill the sink.It just isn't what I want for bringing home baby, so I'm grateful to have however much more time I have to kick it into high gear and get my house in order.

Maybe your little one was just giving you a nudge in the right direction! I can't imagine having the energy to houseclean though and be working too!

Same here, but I'm just so over it. I figure she won't care!

I'm done stressing myself out about it!

It's a struggle, Joy. I have 8 more days at work, but I have to get the house decent looking at the least this weekend.

I know that feeling. At least once a day I go and refold clothes.
I even go back to my parents some days after work and clean the living room and get them on the ball to clean each chance they get.

I just HATE starting new things when its dirty.

I threw myself upon the mercy of my sainted mother, and she came down last weekend and helped me clean my house from top to bottom. Bless her heart. I was exhausted and sore by the end of the day, but feel sooo much better now.

She also offered to pay to have our carpets professionally cleaned, so they're coming next Saturday to take care of that.

Obviously, I'm spoiled freaking rotten.

I **just** finished the last of my shopping of the essentials before the baby came this morning...

Saturday my SIL is coming over to help clean.. it's just too much for me and I've been doing way more than I should be. We left it a bit late, if you ask me... I don't think I have it in me to nest.. LOL!

every night before I go to bed I make sure the dishes are done, and the living room is picked up at least. I have been trying to keep up on the housework so I don't come home to a huge mess when the baby comes.

I make a to do list every morning, it makes me feel good to cross things off as I complete them.

Kelsey---that's the most wonderful "push" gift I've heard about! I'd take a sparkling clean house over a piece of jewelry any day!

My house is gross and it will probably still be gross since I can't clean it. My DH apparently can't see the dirty dishes or laundry or all the crumbs on the rug either!

Don't work yourself too hard lady, you might kick start your labor this weekend with all that cleaning! But I hope you get everything looking nice and ready for that baby!
