I am used to swollen feet and all the discomfort that comes with it. But swollen HOT feet? This is the fourth night and I can't sleep. I prop them high, I wrap them with cool towels, but it feels like they're going to burst.. it;s usually at night when I try to sleep. They're too warm that it does not feel like they're part of my body, if that makes any sense.
Anyone has that or knows why suddenly I am experiencing this? Or how I can relieve the pain? I do need and want to sleep ughhhhh
I recall one time where for no apparent reason (I wasn't pregnant at the time) I got this horrible burning sensation in my feet that drove me nuts. The doc recommended hemorrhoid cream for it, and that did help to make me more comfortable. It went away on its own after a few days. I don't know what might be causing your hot feet feeling, but you could try some Preparation H!
If you're concerned you could always call your OB.
Im feeling somewhat of the same thing right now. As if my feet are hot bricks.
What I usually do is prop my feet up on a slight elevated place. Like the arm rest of the couch. Point a fan towards my feet or open a window near my feet and drink some nice cool water. Occasionally moving my feet so the blood flow isnt stopped to my feet.
I find if my body is cool then my feet eventually catch up.
I have had this probably too!! Last night my feet felt like they were on fire. I have had just swelling really bad for the past 2 weeks, but last night was the first time they were steaming hot! I don't have a solution, but if you find one I would love to know what it is! The swelling alone is awful, but now this too! Ugh! I just bought some diabetic/circulatory socks and I hope they help at least a little with swelling!
