After no progress in over 24 hours I elected to except a CSection. Very quickly after I agreed he arrived. I had a spinal block which was painless, removing him was painless and post op care was painless.....but now the discomfort is really moving in but my little boy was worth every second.
Brock is 7pounds 9ounces, 21 inches long, he has beautiful hair on his beautiful head and seems to be just perfect. I am in love with this guy...broke my heart to have to wait to hold him 5 hours!!!! I suggest you find out before your delivery exactly what the policy in your hospital is...I didn't know out hospital operated under these rules.
All and all I still have zero complains. Will post photos when I learn how :-)

Forgot to mention (TMI)
So I've heard of pooping during vaginal birth.....and now I've heard of csection poop!!! I have a "nervous" stomach and once I agreed to the section things started flying quickly....in the middle of it I got the runs. Figured it was no biggie and that it was over....until I talked to my doc and he told me the awful truth.

Congrats!! Can't wait to see pics. I didn't ask if I pooped or not. I told DH I didn't want to know and I'm happy with that decision. lol

Congratulations Mrs. B!! Can't wait to see the little dude!

Oh and thanks for totally bursting my bubble that a C-section meant no fears of pooping. LOL. You poor thing! At least you can't really control what you do while you're under! I'm sure you're not the first. Try to brush it off and just enjoy your precious bundle!

Congrats! !! I love his name. Take it easy with recovery. My biggest suggestion noone told me and they wish I had--take stool softeners religiously starting now until your first BM to avoid some major pain.

Congratulations on your little guy! Can't wait to see his cute little face.

And amen to the stool softeners. I started immediately after birth and was still scared for that first poop. I'm still taking them.

CONGRATS!!! Glad it went well, I don't care how mine gets here at this point, VB, c-section, whatever, I just want her out!!!

Doctors and nurses have seen it all before so don't worry about a little poop. I didn't think I did with DS, but now I wonder if most people do and they just don't tell you lol - because my friend told me she did when she had her DS a couple months ago and my sister just confessed that she pooped a huge log when having her middle one lmao! Think I'd rather have the runs overall though - I have the opposite problem with bad constipation as it is and am sooooo already not looking forward to going at all after the birth!!!

I'm actually relieved to hear that pooping during a c-section is also a thing... it only seems fair, for some reason haha.

Congratulations on getting that little baby! I can't even imagine what a great feeling of relief that is.

Congrats! So glad he's finally here!

I'm pretty sure most doctors just don't say anything if you poop during labor. I bet it happens to almost everyone.
