I know in pregnancy we counted months in 4 week increments (28 days). Since most months have more than 28 days, do you switch to using the day of the month LO was born Apr 16 =born, May 16=1 month, June 16=2 months, etc., or do you still count 4 weeks as 1 month. I said Avery was 1 month at 4 weeks and DH told me I was wrong. She's 2 months today according to his way, which makes since once I thought about it, but just curious what everyone else goes by.
I count by weeks until she hits two months (which is slightly over 8 weeks). After that, it's the day of her birth by months. It just seems how I've always done it. I stop counting months after 18 months and start saying 1.5 and "almost 2" depending on how close we are to the birthday. Then it's just half-years til 5. Then just years. Apparently I have lots of "rules" about it
