I think it's a similar day today. She was up for the day around 8:45 am. Fed at 9:00 am, then 10:40 am. I left the house at 11 am to meet a friend for lunch. She slept well while out (she was in her carseat). As soon as we got home, she was up though. Fed her around 1:20 pm. It's now 3 pm and she just fell asleep...I suspect it will just be a catnap though.

Oh, and last night she didn't get to bed until 10:15 pm. So yesterday she only slept 30 min during the ten hour stretch of 12:15-10:15. Ugh.

Weird! All of your naughty babies are rubbing off on my naughty baby. She's been cat-nappin' it up today...hasn't really gone down for a 1+ hour sleep at all yet, and it's 1:15. Normally she has a couple of good 2+ hour naps by this time.

I really hope this doesn't mean she's going to become a terrorist tonight. She slept really well last night, and I've discovered that when she does that, we usually pay for it the next night (like with 2 or 3 hour stretches of straight up fussiness, which is exhausting).

I didn't think it was normal until hearing all your stories. All our babies cant be abnormal. Remy did nothing but catnap today too. He did sleep the whole time I went to the dr. for my 6 week check up : )

Walgreens and Walmart have colic calm also. I've been using it with Brock as needed, I only give him half the suggested dose and it really does seem to help.

It's 4pm here we got up at 9am and Brock has slept for a total of 1.5 hours in 3 spurts....you ladies jinxed us

It must be a developmental thing, I'm thinking. Kody has been doing the same exact thing. No real naps, just falling asleep and then waking back up about 15 minutes later. Granted, the longest he was sleeping before wasn't that long, only about an hour to two hours max, but still...I miss having that time to play with (or to sleep along with him when my oldest would let me)! At least he's still sleeping at night.

Ok, I'm feeling good! She ended up falling asleep close to 5 pm, and I did too. My hubby came in at 5:30 pm to see what was going on. He usually takes over my oldest son at this time. Well Lexi was stirring and woke up, so I was thinking this was another catnap. Meanwhile, my son ended up napping past 5:30 pm for his nap (we actually ended up waking him around 5:45 pm!). But then Lexi fell back asleep until - get this - almost 7 pm! Then I fed her, and then she was back to bed for the night at 8:00 pm! She just had a feeding (woke around 1:30 am). So she went 6.5 hours between feeds and slept 5.5 hrs straight just now! I'm thinking this makes up for yesterday?!

Fine! She went right back to bed after the 1:30 am feeding. Then woke at 5 am to feed. Then back to bed until 8:45 am (we're feeding now). Hope this continues!

She doesn't seem to have a problem at night, except for getting to bed late (9:30 or 10 pm). But after catnapping all day that doesn't seem right. Last night was the first night she was down for the night at 8 pm. I felt like I had so much free time!

Ok, today she is doing a complete 180! She actually napped for about an hour from 10:40-11:45 am after her 9 am feeding! I was able to eat breakfast and get the dishes done. I felt so productive! I fed her again at noon before heading out to pick up big brother from camp. She dozed in the car, but nothing substantial. Came home, did an extra lunch with my son (he didn't like what I packed), and fed her again. Now it's 3 pm and she's drifting off in her bassinet. But I don't think it's lasting...she's restless as if she's hungry again. That's what happens when she doesn't sleep between feeds...she gets hungry a lot earlier...like an hour to 90 min.

Kary, I can only hope Kody will turn it around too! He is being really fidgety during the day and falling asleep only to wake right back up. He had a bit of a morning nap (a couple 1 hour naps) but nothing since then. I miss the days he would nap all day and sleep all night (I mean by that, going back to sleep while he wakes up every hour all night).

Ok, so this is the third night in a row Lexi has gone down for the night by 8 pm! I actually have no idea what to do in my spare time! It feels so weird to have the evening back to myself! And she napped substantially today...she gave me a huge afternoon nap from about 3:15 - 5:45 pm...it must have been a growth spurt. Thank God we're through it.

Well I thought we were past this. Lexi has been restless all day. She only catnapped this am from 9:50-10:30 am. Then she catnapped from 1:00 - 1:20 pm. She was super fussy all morning after her catnap. I could barely get in lunch for me and my son she was so fussy. She's now flapping around in her bassinet, cooing up a storm. Ugh. Go to sleep!

I'm definitely not doing this again. I'm done! She's our last! It's just way too much work for me.

Avery took a wonderful 2 hour nap this morning, but I'm sure it's because she decided to play for a while at 3am. We are sitting in the car as I type in the Minute Maid parking lot letting her nap before watching her first Red Sox game in Houston. DH always insists on being at games an hour before the gates open to be at the front first to try for autographs. I let him know this morning he can stand in the heat all he wants, but me and Avery aren't getting out of the ac until the gates actually open. Still have another 40 minutes. Seriously if it wasn't his bday present I so would have put up a fight about coming so early.
