Cadence outgrows the torso length of clothes long before she outgrows the legs. So her sleepers fit in the torso but she has these big floppy feet hanging off her! Is this genetics or do the people making baby clothes not have a clue what they are doing??

Avery is exactly the opposite. Her torso fits the sleepers but her legs and feet are outgrowing them. I'm gonna end up having th cut the feet off for her to wear them. lol

Seems like it's just that some babies (just like adults) don't fit into the "average" for clothing...that's why I have to try on like 50 pairs of jeans before I find ones that fit!
For Kody, his feet are a bit bigger than the footed sleepers allow for in some brands. It's always something!

Haha, that's funny, Joy! Cadence is the opposite; the feet always look like skis on her! I guess babies are all just built differently.

Brock has a long torso also. He's pretty thin but outgrows length quickly .

Yeah, it's genetics. Jo is long, but sorta equally so (torso and legs), but the feet holes are way big and all the sleepers are so, so wide. I went thru it with my middle boy, but he chubbed up really fast, so I didn't deal with it long. Jo is taking a little longer to fill out.

Mine is also the opposite. The torso part fits fine, maybe a little baggy but the legs are always too short and often too narrow. Sometimes its so bad he cant straighten his legs properly they so short. Problem is the next size up is MUCH too big for him.

So far my son is kind of on the shorter side, so no, but my daughter, who's 4, has always had that problem. She has a long torso and average legs, so I always have to size up and it looks ridiculous sometimes. Sizing is so random, depending on the brand!
