I was feeling good with all things considered for a long time. Then over the past month or so I would have a day here or there where I stayed on the verge of tears all day with no clue why. Now it's been going on 2 days straight and I don't know why. I feel fine. Not depressed, no bad thoughts, I just don't understand. I'm just walking or driving or anything and start tearing up. I don't like it. lol Shouldn't all this hormone stuff be straight by now?

It's really dependent on the person. I readily admit I don't love the 6 weeks-3.5 months range. I am always a basket case. I assume it's when my hormones are a little whacky and it makes me weepy, irritable, restless, and moody. Has happened all three times. Meanwhile, my close friend suffers the most around 10 months-13 months. So, I think not all women experience it at the same time. It depends on your body and how it reacts to hormonal changes. Frankly, in a breastfeeding mama, hormones stick around for a while and can flare as your body tries to cycle, when baby is going through a growth spurt, or even just for no known reason. I don't think what you are xperiencing is unusual...just surprising and frustrating for you. it passes.

Oh and PS: Sleep deprivation doesn't help matters either!

I have been pretty good but before the 2 periods I've had since baby....watch out! Never been so irritable in my life!

Hope it gets better for you soon
