A month ago at our 2 month check up, the dr. said we could let him cry it out a little when it comes to bedtime. I told her no way that was happening. At this months check up she told me he should be sleeper longer stretches. Hes not the best sleeper, he will go to sleep, wake up about 3 hours later, I feed him then I will get maybe 1 or 2 hours before he wakes up again. This goes on until about 7 am. until we get up for the day. WELL...at 4 am he got up about an hour after I fed him this morning. I knew he wasn't hungry. So I closed his bedroom door and mine as well and watched him through the monitor. He complained and cried for I would say a good 20 minutes. It killed me to watch him but he started to fall asleep in between crying so I knew he was tired. I waited until he fell asleep. Then he slept until 6:30 am when my husband left for work. He went in his room and brought him to me. He said he was just hanging out awake in his crib. I wanted to kill him (husband that is) for disturbing a quiet baby. ...I guess I will try it again tonight and see what happens. This getting up every 1 hour is not doable. I know he just wants to be with me in my bed but I have an 8 year old that still comes in my bed because of the same situation. I cant have 2 kids in my bed every night..lol.

Aw, that's tough but sometimes it's necessary! I'm sorry you had to do that. But, I'm sure in time you will reap the benefits of it.
