Oh how we miss you're daily laughs. Daily cheers and daily updates. Our world has been one hectic ball. I'm back at work full time and discovering motherhood and a job are tough. I cried the whole way to work the first day of a 12 hour shift. Just knowing ill miss 12 hours of his sweet life.
He is such an enjoyable baby. He's started to notice things more and ohhhs and awes when someone talks to him and he smiles the biggest smile ever. With his cute dimples.
He will be 3 months this Friday so his dad and I have a family day planned.
Mason is super long.. But he's growing at perfect rate. He fits nicely in 0-3 month clothes lol I think that's good. But he's been teething for a month. His crying days are more manageable these past weeks.
We had our annual feast day on Sunday, Aug 4th. It's a day we celebrate our pueblos name and there's traditional dances all day from sun up to sun down. There's carnival rides and a live band at the dance floor for night entertainment. Oh it was a joy to share with Mason. He was enjoyed by my entire family.
So today is a day off for me but Isaiah decided to take Mason so I could rest. We don't live with Isaiah any longer but it's not a problem. I have my privacy on days I want it and days I want Isaiah around he can easily come be with us. We learned that in order to be amazing parents for Mason we need to be amazing together which for us means... We need alone time and together time. Honestly we have been going on dates and trying to get back to the days we actually liked each other lol it's working and we are **** good at making the best home for our son. So when I'm working Mason is with his daddy and I'm perfectly fine with that. His dad has become more confident
But overall... Mason and I are happy. Healthy and loving each other. I feel so blessed to have such great motivation
Good to hear from you! Glad you two are doing well. You're really brave-- I can't leave my newborn or even my two year old for twelve hours. But you've gotta do what you've gotta do. I'm also delaying going back to school until the spring bc I don't want to send my kids to a daycare now
Rhea, I remember you saying you we're interested in getting an TESL degree? Are you doing that on the winter?
DD born in September 2011
