When do you introduce water your babies? How much and how?

not till after 6 months...they don't need it.

Ditto...we started with a little bit of water in a sippy cup after 6 months...it was probably even more like 8 months. Whenever we did a solids feeding, we would try the sippy cup.

No water here either. I don't really have a plan for introducing it.. I guess whenever he starts taking some kind of cup. I don't really think he needs it if he's still breastfeeding regularly past 6 months. It's a wait and see game, but absolutely not before he's 6mo.

Our pediatrician suggested we could give him water since it was over 95 pretty much every day, but since we spent so much time indoors with AC I never did. He just wanted us to know it was OK in that kind of heat and if he seemed thirsty.

I guess I dont see the point of giving them water this young. Breastmilk is 90% water and formula is mixed with two parts water already...so theyre getting water already and plenty of it.
