CONGRATULATIONS, that's awesome! I'm torn - if I was a couple of years younger, I would so want another one now, especially since Sophia has been so easy, but I think that knowing I'm turning 40, I'm pretty sure this is it for us.
Thank you everyone for the wonderful support. My betas are in and doubling every 48 hours. The doctor said things look great so far and my first ultrasound is August 29th! I'm so nervous. Most days I am excited but yesterday after hearing from the doc I had a litte breakdown. Emmett is so young and I just feel guilty that I won't have much one on one time with him.
Aw, that's a tough one. You may not be able to get that one on one time, but you may have other payoffs such as your kids being really good friends because they're so close in age. My sister and I were 17 months apart, and we were best friends growing up (we're still very close). Plus, you get to be done with diapers that much sooner than if you waited---get it all over with at the same time! I think you just have to keep in mind that for any drawback, there is a positive thing about it too. I think in the end you'll be glad you got pregnant sooner rather than later.
