Holy moly I noticed an increase in hair shedding all of a sudden! I brush my hair and there is so much hair left in there! It's all over the place. Anyone else?

I've been shedding like crazy for a few weeks. I haven't noticed clumps coming out like some people say, but I find my hair EVERYWHERE. It's so annoying because my hair is really long (goes down to my butt). I have a lot of hair, but it's super fine, so it doesn't look thick. I wish it would stop coming out. I didn't even get the benefit of luxurious hair like you're supposed to get during pregnancy, so it's not fair!

ME TOO! I am starting to panic that Im going bald! The other day on Dr. Oz (love that show) he said that low iron can make you loose a lot of hair. I have low iron and haven't been good about taking the iron pills but IM TAKING THEM NOW.

Been shedding real bad too, for a couple weeks! Annoying! Had to use Drano on our bathroom drain cause my hair was clogging it up!

Yep, me too. It happened after I had Ava, too, but not until she was about 6 months old. I remember washing my hair and it just kept coming out in huge clumps. I thought I was going to need extensions or something! It's one of those things about post-pregnancy that nobody warns you about. Your hormone levels drop, which causes your hair to start growing again, something it doesn't do during pregnancy. When your hair grows, it sheds old hair, which is why most women (like myself) experience thicker hair during pregnancy. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted!
