My little prissy britches is 12 lbs 8 oz and 23". She moved on up to the 15th % for weight and is finally on the chart for length, but still short. Total brag moment, doc said she's very advanced for her age developmentally. Yep, smarty mcsmarty pants here. Had her 4 month shots as well which was a total boo moment. Also, had my yearly girl stuff and my bp is finally back to normal. Overall we had 2 very good appt's.
Awesome! Congrats on great appointments! We go next week for Lexi's 4 monthl I have a feeling she will also be in the 12 lb range...we have petite girls! Although Lexi is very long - she was 22.25 inches at 2 months already. I'm so not looking forward to the shots - she went ballistic last time and did not want to nurse.
Those shots just completely break my heart. It took me a minute to get her to latch and we stayed in the room a couple minutes trying to get her to settle and nurse but she finally did and by the time we got the car she went right to sleep. Forgot to bring the Tylenol so I gave her some when we got home.
Doc told us today we do shots again at 6 months, 9 months is just a developmental visit, and then shots again at 12 months, 15 months, and 18 months. After that they don't need them again until they're 4. No wonder kids hate going to the dr early on.
