Lexi went down at 8 pm...she first woke at 10:15 pm and I only did paci duty. She was able to get back to sleep without a feeding until midnight. At midnight I fed her. Then she woke at 3:30 am...ugh. I tried to just do paci, but she was starting to escalate. I could not risk waking up my son bc he has picture day today and I wanted him to be well rested. So I fed her. Then she woke back up at 6:00 am and I fed her. Then she was back down until 8 am, when she started fussing. I let her fuss for a while off and on until I got her. And now she's not even hungry. Ugh. I'm exhausted.

Erin, it sounds like she might do well with some food in her tummy.

Kary, I'm sorry you're struggling. You have a lot to deal with during the day with your son, so it's gotta be hard to function after a night like that.

I just need to get her on a bottle so someone else can feed her so I can get a break. I'm running myself ragged. I should have introduced the bottle earlier. Now I'm trapped.

I hear you. I'm in the same situation. Can't blame you though, because you did what you thought was best for your baby (EBF).

I promised myself with this one I wasn't going to go crazy with breastfeeding or make myself feel guilty if I used formula...but I did. Ugh.

I'm sorry. Maybe you can still get her to take a bottle. Bottle boot camp?

Something I found out when I had to give a count for a medical questionnaire for Kody, is that I'm probably nursing him 12-18 times in a 24 hour period. That's waaay too many times (in my opinion) at this age.
