Lilah really hardly naps now during the day. I think she'll stop napping altogether early - maybe at just over a year.

She slept for 30 min dropping my oldest off at school today, and that has been it so far....it's 1pm here, and she's happily playing, doesn't seem tired at all. I wish she'd go down, because otherwise I'm going to have to wake her up to go pick my daughter up from school, which means cutting a nap she really needed, short. She still takes an evening nap, most days, around 5pm...probably because she barely naps all day, but she has been fighting that nap really badly the past few days......so I'm not sure how much longer we'll be doing that. She's in bed by 6:45 or 7pm - up between 1-3am for a bottle, then sleeps until between 6-7:30am.

Jo doesn't nap much during the day. She goes down for one at about 1pm. But it's length can be really short and it's still the only one she takes. On Saturday she slept for 25 minutes all day long (9am-8:30pm). And she was fine. Not terribly grumpy. But some days she also sleeps 1.5 hours at that nap, which seems short for her age. But it's longer than most days. I'd say average is 45min-1 hour of daytime sleep. But she is pretty content, so I don't really mind much. Unless I have a lot to do. Then it's a tad more inconvenient.

Lately, a typical day has been looking like this: awake around 6 to eat, sleeps until 7:30-8, up until 10:30-11, sleeps an hour to an hour and a half, awake another three hours, naps 30 minutes, then goes to sleep around 8:30. Sometimes he'll get a 20 minute nap in if we go on a long walk or drive in the early evening.

We take 2- one hour naps a day (and when I say "we" I mean we! Lol, doesn't "sleep when baby sleeps" still apply?!?!). Sometimes he skips the second one altogether. It's pretty normal at this age to drop to one nap a day.

Carter has finally started making a schedule for himself. He wakes up late, around 930 or 10. He takes his one nap around 1st for 1-2 hours. He heads to bed between 7 and 8. He has 1 night waking, usually around 3 o'clock. I don't really like that he sleeps until 10 but he has finally made a schedule for himself, I don't want to mess with it! Plus, it allows me to get a 7 hour stretch of sleep!

Wow, sounds like she is napping quite a bit! Grace is up at 7 and down for bed at 9pm. She takes about one 45 minute nap a day. She is up once to nurse during the night. None of our kids have ever been nappers, so we are just used to it being this way I guess

What is this 'nap' you all speak of??

(I was planning on saying more on how Chase is up almost all day, but he just woke up from a whopping 10 minute 'nap', so time to go...)

Funny I was worried Brock sleeps too much and our Pedi looked at me like I had 3 heads. He wakes around 8am and goes down about 8pm. His naps are 10-11:30 and 2-4 most days. He also sleeps through the night, meaning he's up a whopping 8.5 hours on an average day. Does anyone else have a sleepy head?

Carter used to be a sleepy head. His morning nap used to be 2-3 hours long! Those days seem to be long gone though. LOL
