I have always kept a water bottle out on the ground for Wyatt to drink whenever he wants. It was pretty normal for me to fill it up 3 times a day (it's about 9 oz), but over the past few weeks I have filled that sucker up 5 times a day! So he's drinking 45 oz of water a day on top of the 18oz of whole milk he gets. His food eating has slowed down (but not horrible- he was a big eater to begin with). Poops are totally normal, and obviously he pees A LOT. Is it okay for him to be drinking that much water? I can't imagine denying him water. :/ also, it is warming up, but I always keep our place at 74 degrees.
Thanks for the link Michelle! When I was googling stuff before I posted, I was googling "is my baby drinking too much water" and I was only getting results saying not to give water before six months. Never dawned on me that I don't have a baby- I have a TODDLER! So when I changed my googling wording to that- I found a lot more articles. A good suggestion was to put the water in a sippy cup instead of the bottle- he will probably drink less that way. And I will totally talk to the pedi at next visit. Thanks girls!
