I just HAD to tell someone about this. Tonight my friend took my older two girls to their dance rehearsal, so I was on my own with Lilah (DH is away on business for weeks....I'm EXHAUSTED!). Anyway, it was just past Lilah's bedtime and she was happy as a clam just hanging out with me, super cuddly, LOVING the one on one attention. We were just playing and hanging out, when she suddenly looked at me very seriously and said "baba" (bottle). I laughed and said "is it that time?". I went back to doing what I was doing with the blocks, and when I looked up she had walked over to the couch, got her sleep sack, and dragged it over to me. OMG....seriously....sooooo adorable. I laid the sleep sack down, and she sat down on it, smiling and happy. I said "do you want a baba and night night?" and she looked at me sooooo hopeful and said "baba" again.
That is the first time she has ever "asked" to go to bed. My heart just melted. It was just SO sweet. She went down super easy, right to sleep. My angel.
