We couldn't get an appointment to the ob/gyn until October 9 (so. far. away. thanks military!), so we went to a local place that does ultrasounds. They don't do transvaginal u/s there, and my bladder wasn't full (despite drinking 24 ounces and not peeing for an hour), so we were only able to see the gestational sac....but this is such a relief after being told I couldn't have kids due to endometriosis and PCOS. It was amazing to see a visual representation of the pregnancy instead of just feeling like crap all the time.
I'm glad you were able to get confirmation of your pregnancy! In October you will see a little baby inside there
I have been worried about the fact that I can't see anything in there, but it was an external u/s, which I've been reassured is normal at this point. I can't wait until my next u/s, which will be mid October.
