on saturday night, we put caliah to bed, and avi was asleep...so hugo and i decided to, well you know. i was on him, but i had my shirt on, and we were covered from our waist down. well, cali decided to go in the room...because she forgot to give us a kiss and hug good night. so she stands by the bed, and asks us what we are doing. we weren't being loud, nor did i think we were obvious. so i tell her that i was hugging dad. she looks at us like...sure, whatever. she walks away...and well, we finished our thing.
the next day...i had forgotten all about it...
but while i was chatting with emma on msn, i remembered what had happened the night before...so i ask caliah:
ME: "Cali, last night, when you came into our room...do you know what me and daddy were doing?"
CALI: "yes mommy, you were having SEX with daddy..."
ME:
"What do you mean, what is THAT?"
CALI: "you know, you were cuddling with him, making him feel happy"
ME: "no baby, i was just hugging him"
CALI: "okay mommy...but i know that you were cuddling and it was just sex"
in my head, i was omg!
this girl is so not naive, and she will forever remember! i totally underestimated her! i have never talked about the birds and the bees with her, and we are very careful about what we watch on tv...so how she knows or even has an idea about sex, beats me!
oh man...i don't even know what to say!! lol...
my 6 year old knows too much.
i just kept making her believe we were hugging...but i know, that she knows what she saw! and nothing gets by that kid.
