We were still sleeping and this HUGE BOOM woke me up. I knew EXACTLY what it was. I grabbed my robe and ran upstair with Michael on my heels. I opened her door and she was standing there in the middle of the room, screaming!!! I just scooped her up and held her tight. She screamed for a while. But, I can't find any boo-boos on her. She clung to me for 20 minutes. Then dh asked her if she wanted to eat and she nodded, got down from my lap, and went to the kitchen. So, she's eating now. I think she's okay.
So, we will by setting up the twin bed and going to buy a mattress today. Then I'll probably have to put a gate at her doorway so she can't get out... because the stairs are LONG and falling down them would hurt!!! Except I just realized she has TWO doors in her room. Maybe I'll have to get more of those door handles instead.
Awww poor baby.. Mine is the opposite she doesn't try to get out but she throws herself in..She climbs up and just goes right over..But i get scared cause of her neck.. I have to change it to a big girl bed..But then she will always be getting in and out
Well, DH found all the pieces to the last twin bed we have and put it all together, then he and Kaeli went to find a mattress. I had to take Natalie and Jaedyn to a bday party, when I got back, it was all set up. So, I put the sheets on and Natalie played for a little. About 9 o'clock tonight, I went up and rocked her and then put her down in the bed. Initially, she freaked out and grabbed on to me. I climbed in bed with her for a few minutes and then she was trying to play. So, I kissed her and left. She cried!!! I debated going back, but... We have the camera in there, so far so good. She hasn't moved. I put the things on the handles, so hopefully she won't get out.
Poor baby! That must have been so scary for you Talia! I am so glad she is ok and didn't get hurt. I hope last night went well and she decides to like her new big girl bed!
oh my goodness! that would have scared me! all my boys started jumping out of their crib at 2
and even on carpeted flooring it still scared me!
i am glad she is ok though
