More Worry

DH got called into his second job this afternoon after working since 4 am or so. I was very frustrated until I found out why.
Apparently, there have been several break ins and the guys doing it are armed. Well, his work is cash only and so as you can imagine it has quite a draw for thieves especially out in the middle of nowhere. There was only one supervisor closing tonight and he didn't feel comfortable being the only one there & the only one with a gun. So, he called Tom in so he could be another person carrying a gun as well.
I'm sure all will be well, but now I am worrying...

Oh Wow!! I would be worried too, even though I understand the reason.

Can I ask what DH's second job is that requires them to carry a gun? (If you can't say, that is OK...I understand).

It doesn't require them to...it's just safer since it's cash only. They work for a company that rents tubes to float down the river and provides transport. People go down the river and tend to get very sloshed...then tempers flare. He is a supervisor and has to resolve conflict a lot. Sometimes it won't resolve until he shows his weapon.

Hugs Julie. Sorry you have to worry so much. Hope everything went ok last night and the darn theives go somewhere else!

Floatin down the river on a tube sounds like a blast though!!
