jessie was about 2.3 months..i went through a tattoo/piercing place so vaxs werent required (jessie would of never got her ears pierced then!)

We were going to get it done when she was 6 months old but we decided to wait and let her decide on when she wants to get them pierced. When she decides that, then we will take her.

Five years is the youngest I'll let either of my girls have them done. They're not my ears, so not my place to punch holes in them. Rachael turned five back in February and knows she can have it done when she wants to now - but has chosen not to just yet. She's not afraid of the pain, but says she "just doesn't want to" - so I'm glad I didn't take that liberty when she was tiny.
Amelia will have the option when she turns five too.

When they are mature enough to take care of them on their own. Kaeli was 10. Kass has been asking and we're thinking about letting her this summer. She's 8.

Bobbi was 3.5. She had expressed interest for several months, we talked alot about it and I finally took her to get them done. I want it to be my girls choice as its their body and I dont want to make that choice for them

I agree. I'm gonna make my girls wait til they can handle taking care of them. Probably around 8 - 10.

rosie has been hounding us for a long time and we finally took her in to get them done a couple months ago. She is 5

Nope, not pierced! I won't get them done until she's old enough to ask (IF she wants them done) and can help take care of them.

I agree. They are not my ears so I have no right to make permanent holes in them. When my girls are ready and when/if they ask, then we will make a Day of it. Ears, Lunch, Movie, Mani/pedi, etc
