So, since my dd's birthday is coming up... a few questions?

When your dd's are younger do you have extended family parties or just your family?

How about once they get older? Family or their friends?

If you invite friends, at one age?

We have family (extended) parties with my girls until they are school age (4-5) then they start inviting their friends and only grandma/grandpas are invited.

Parties for my kids always seem to be more money then they are worth..So we started for the big kids doing "Your day" So bascially we do what they want..go to mickey d's, beach, friends...whatever. Then we do them a little cake and invite grandparents..

Vae is going to be 2 in 3 months So I haven't decided if were gonna do a party or not yet!

It has workd so far...we just started that and Jay(SS) was first so he chose to pick up his friends and have a sleepover..they destroyed my house, built a fort in the living room and they also went to the playground..He had a lot of fun and it was free...LOL!

Next birthday is Ava she will be 7 in November which last year I did her and Vae together cause there birthdays are like a week apart..So Idon't know if I am gonna just do them together again or not..IDK

I think my girls would enjoy something like that.. well Arianna likes having her friends over more than anything. But Natalie would love the one on one time.

We do extended family parties, but there's a lot of cousins too, which are most of what their friend's are. When they're 4 or 5 they'll probably have more of a say in who they want to invite.
