Besides having a baby, have you ever been admitted to the hospital overnight?

Other than having babies I've never been admitted, but I've still spent plenty of nights in the hospital: my #4 spent her first 5 weeks in the hospital and a month later another week and this past fall 5 days for her appendix.

I was in the hospital for 3 weeks when I was 10 or 11 with whooping cough. My kids never have.

Seriously?? We practically live there! I'm on a first name basis with most of the docs.

I had minor heart surgery as a baby and an infection when I was 11. Also spent about a week in the hospital after a bad car accident 6 months ago.

Meagan had a hernia repaired as a toddler.
Abbey had her tonsils out.
Kayla was born early and spent about 3 weeks in the NICU and then had a respiratory infection a few months later.
But the grand prize goes to Ellie! Just in the last 2 years she's been admitted overnight 7 times. 2 of those times included several weeks in the ICU. I've lost count of how many times we've gone in just for the day.

I personally haven't been admitted overnight since having Kayley. Lucky I guess.

I had to have an emergency appendectomy when I was 16, and since the surgery wasn't done until midnight.... I obviously was there overnight. I also stopped breathing several times as a child... but I don't think any of those required a hospital stay, just treatment.

KB has never been to/in a hospital - not even when she was born.

I had to stay a week in the hospital (when Sophie was 2 months old) due to pancreatitis and gallbladder removal. It was so hard leaving my baby!
