I was at the hospital when went into labor. I had NO contractions (not even small ones) and they had to start pit to get things going

My water broke at home (tmi - while I was peeing I felt a huge gush and had bloody at same time). I was talking to hubby at the time and told him he needed to come home because it was time for his daughter to be born.

With Meg, my water broke in bed in the middle of the night. I'd been having contractions for days but I didn't know it. That night I just couldn't get comfortable at all and was wide awake at 3 a.m. when I felt my water break.

With Abbey we had some friends over for dinner and my water broke while we were saying grace.

With Kayla my water never really broke but it had apparently been leaking for a while. I was at a routine OB appointment when they discovered I had almost no fluid left so they rushed me to the hospital and I had a c-section less than an hour later at 34 weeks.

I was at home when I went into labour with Alyssa and Rylan, then went shopping to walk around and get things going. With Sophia, I was induced (although they said I was in early labour when I got there). With all 3, my water had to be broken at the hospital, except Alyssa, it eventually broke, less than 2 minutes before she was born!

Where were you when you went in labour? I was actually at the beach when I first starting feeling what I thought was just braxton hicks... that was 5 hours before we started timing contractions, and 30 hours before I actually gave birth.

Where were you when your water broke? My midwife broke it during my labor.
