I obviously haven't done a party for Kynslee yet but I think I may do e-vites (I think that's what they are called) where you send cute invitations via email and then everyone can click yes or no and write how many right there and you know who's all coming. But, when Kynslee gets older I may for a special b-day that she'll more remember and enjoy may buy some invitations. Or, something that would be fun is to have them help you make invitations so they can take part in b-day preparations.

I've done both too. I'm not very creative or scrapbook-ey so I prefer to buy them for sure.

We used to buy the "invitation pads" from the newsagency, they have some design on them and you fill them out.

A few years ago Sunny got a "design your own stationary" computer game for her birthday, and there are invitations on there, so now everyone uses that program to make them, and we get them printed off at a photo kiosk.

When is her b-day? Are you going with a 'theme' or just a general party?

That's exciting Kerian!! I hope Kyla has a wonderful time with her first party!

I bought invites when they were little but now they like making them themselves.

Ashely, it is the 7th of Junly. yes i know its awhile away, but i have to hand the invites to the school by the 13th of June, cos school goes on vacation on the 16th. and i am hoping most of the kids will come to the party.

so far the theme is Barbie princess, lol.
