Does your girl like dolls?

It seems like girl's now days are done playing with dolls by around 5 (or even younger).

I remember playing with dolls when I was 10 & 11 - and maybe even older then that!

It seems like kids now days are so filled with media that they don't enjoy actual toys anymore? Is this true or do your girls still enjoy their actual 'girl' type toys?

My oldest daughter is five and still loves her dolls! I do find that what you said is true for a lot of kids though, but we're pretty careful about making sure our kids actually play (we limit "screen time"). I think it's so sad to see so many kids now lacking imagination

I agree! I'm hoping that Kynslee will stay playing with dolls and other toys. We also limit her movie time. When she does watch something she really enjoys it since she doesn't get to all the time.

It seems like I always also see so many toddlers (like 2 year olds) with phones in their hands playing games or watching movies on the phone. It seems like some kids can never be satisfied unless they have some type of entertainment.

I agree! My oldest two have DSi's, but they're mostly kept for long car rides and things like that, and they only really hold my kid's interest for about 20 minutes at a time anyway!
