Moms with older daughters - did you girl get yeast infections?

Kynslee has a yeast infection and for just turning two it seems a little early to be getting one. She's in pain and poor girl can hardly walk at times it hurts her so bad The pain seems to have lessened a little since we started treating it correctly (we at first were trying to treat like a diaper rash) but it still looks bad. It'll look okay in the morning but as the day goes on it starts looking bad again. So, any of you moms have any ideas that helps yeast infections?

Currently we are trying/have tried:
Vaginal yeast infections cream (recommended by the pharmacist based on her doc's recommendations)
Cut out sugars
Cut out milk
Keeping dry as best as possible
Vitamin E oil when pain gets really bad
Water & vinegar baths

My girls never have, but we thought Sophia did a few months ago (turned out to be viral, and just had to run it's course), but when they diagnosed it first as a yeast infection the pediatrician told us to use Canestin. I hope you find something that works soon! Poor baby

Maybe I can try that. It seems like it's almost gone now but a little still remains.
