I am from the Jan 2014 DDC. I am currently working on my masters program.

I have a short research paper due in class and she has said we can use surveys to get our data. My class is Women in Leadership. For the topic I chose (she gave 5 to choose from) she said we could ask other parents so I would like to use your opinions. I thought of a list of questions so if you have time today please respond. These are totally opinion and not meant for debate. I am supposed to report the opinions of other parents as to how they believe they are preparing their daughters to be successful leaders in todays society. This can vary greatly and would depend on each individual lifestyle and what you consider to be a leader. If you have other ideas that I don't ask feel free to leave those at the end! Thanks so much ladies!!!!

My topic is:
Raising Daughters To Be Leaders

1. What tactics do you value/ use to promote your daughter to be confident and successful as they mature?

2. What strategies do you use to promote a strong will/ independence?

3. How do you believe you can promote a positive self-image in daughters despite the depictions in society?

4. What steps do you use to encourage them to make good choices?

5. Are you encouraging education beyond high school or are you allowing the to be a personal lifestyle choice for them?

6. Do you feel it is "ok" for them to choose to be a stay at home mom if that is the best decision for their family or do you feel she needs to be a part of the bread winning?

7. How do you think you are preparing them for the life ahead ---> at home, workforce, making it to the "top", being a role model, etc??
