I was so glad to see a few recent posts from you - I was wondering how things were going with you. Are you getting into some sort of routine now that Riku has gone back to work? We miss seeing you as often!

Yay I am glad you found something that works for you! I know it seems like when I lay to nap Reagan is up 10 minutes later or I can't sleep, argh!!

Yes paci's can be lifesavers, Reagan liked to sleep with hers and I rather have her do that than suck her thumb. But she's pretty much over it now!!

Glad to see you back

Glad you're getting into some sort of a routine...I'm looking forward to that happening too! I wish a baby of mine would take a pacifier. Rachael NEVER would, and Amelia has gone from taking one *sometimes* to not wanting anything to do with it at all. *sigh* So, enjoy it doubly for me!

oh no...well I hope Marley stays with it because at first she was like "Yuck, this thing don't work!" I'm crossing my fingers that she sticks with it for a little bit!

If she's liking it at three months, I'd say she'll probably stick with it...I hope so, anyway.

Amelia is sneaky. I'll put it in her mouth and hold it there for a few seconds, to give her a chance to latch onto it...she'll keep her mouth wide open around it, like she doesn't even want to touch the thing. And if I'm persistent about it, she'll finally close her mouth and start sucking on it...just long enough for me to let go, and then she *immediately* turns her head to one side and spits it out! It would be downright hilarious if it weren't so irritating when I REALLY want her to use it!

What brand do you use Kristin? I am sure you have tried a bunch of different ones.

But I tried the nuk's forever w/Reagan...she wasn't a big fan. One day I bought the mam ones and she was all about it!

Reagan's big problem was that she'd grab onto that handle and out it'd pop!! Plus the mam ones are SUPER cute, pretty polka dots and stripes and I got her some glow in the dark ones!

Hmm...I haven't tried the Mam ones yet, but I know I have a couple stashed away that Rachael wouldn't use. I've been trying the Nuks too, and a funky round Gerber one that is *supposedly* more like the latch she's used to from bf'ing. She apparently disagrees. I'll dig the Mam out tomorrow and give it a shot - thanks for reminding me about it!
