Had regular checkup yesterday, Dr did FFN test (fetal fibronectin test), results today were positive. Had to go to labor & delivery for monitoring and multiple contractions showed on monitor. I'm now on bed rest, gotta see dr weekly, on medications to help stop contractions at home. If they don't work back to l&d.

On bright side got to see baby on ultrasound, hear heartbeat for entire monitor, baby is active and weighs 1 lb 11 oz.

Thank you for all the kind words and prayers. Today is Day 1 of bed rest. And my hubby is off next week for a few days cause it is springs break for our girls. So week one shouldn't be too bad.

Going to try and relax, sleep and read as much as I can to pass the time.

Please keep cooking baby, please.

Prayers that all goes well. Over 8 years ago I went into early contractions. They gave me IV mag and then Procardia. It worked I suspect they have even better drugs now to help.

Stay put baby. The first 2 weeks of bed rest are the worst. Hopefully, you'll have a very long time to get used to it. Hang in there.
