I'm only 6 weeks along, but saw the topic and wanted to chime in. I have had pretty severe depression and anxiety in the past and am still on a low dose of antidepressant. I've been feeling just fine until yesterday and then the depression and anxiety settled in like a nice heavy fog. I'm hoping it's short lived, but am planning on changing my next appointment with my psychiatrist to sooner and maybe getting back on schedule with a therapist.

My husband had a good suggestion today though. He encouraged me to think about all the things I can look forward to with motherhood (first words, holding a sleeping baby, etc). I started a list and it did calm me down some. Just wanted to throw it out there in case it's helpful.

At least all the ones within 25 miles. Which plan do you have? I have tricare prime, and I have limited options in such a remote area. I miss my naval clinic! I never had any confusion with them!

I was prime when I needed to do this and I was living with my parents at the time because Kyle was deployed. They told me all I needed to do was search for someone in the area that took tricare.

I am glad you have decided to push forward and see someone. I hope you can get things sorted out. I know how hard it is being without dh due to deployment and the depression that comes along with it. Hang in there make yourself get up and try to take a small walk to get some fresh air. KUP posted on how your appt goes. Lots of HUGS!
