I feel like I am getting a lot of later pregnancy symptoms very early this time around. Leaky tits and now braxton hicks?
I had them with my other two kids, but they were never painful, just hardening...i guess would be the word to use.
But these ones are actually painful! I woke up twice last night in a lot of pain with a contraction. Then today I was working on her mural and I had to sit down because of how painful it was. It came, it stole my breath and then it went away.
I've been getting lots of BH much earlier this time than any of my other pregnancies. I haven't had any that I would call painful but there have been plenty that were "hard enough" to make it more difficult to breath.
I especially notice them at work if I am wrestling/moving/restraining a larger dog. Also, every single time I have sex I get really intense BH afterwards.
Well seeing as I'm a first timer, I have no idea what BH is like and all I get occasionally is a tightening under my belly button. I get pain, but it's never with the tightening. So, I really have no idea exactly what is going on.
I have notice this a few times! The taking your breath away thing! It's almost like I realize I'm not breathing very well then notice the tightening and agitation. If its full on pain or has any regularity too it you should go get checked! Better to get te crazy Preggo lady looks from the doc then to miSS if something was off!
I have had some that are pretty painful! I asked the doc to check and make sure I wasn't dialating at my last appointment and I wasn't... but they are very uncomfortable.

They scared me today. I needed to walk from a client's office to our office (just 5 blocks). I got several so hard that I thought I was going to need to sit down. Since I had preterm labor with my second pg around 26 weeks, I was freaked out a little. While I am not glad that others are having discomfort, I am glad I am not along. I suspect that they are harmless when they stop. I have an appointment a week from today and really want to speak with my doc.
I started having them this time around 20 weeks. They've been getting pretty intense in the evening. Not painful, but strong enough to take my breath away for sure and they're definitely uncomfortable.
