So, today I was on a small mission to measure height and weight on my kids to see how much they've grown in a yr and what their growth percentiles are compared to other children. Then it occurred to me to try it out for their birth weights/heights and see how they stacked up to others at birth:


DD1: 7lbs 10 ozs 20 inches
percentile: [36% weight and 72% height]

DS: 8lbs 8 ozs 20.9 inches
percentile: [82% weight and 84% height]

DD2: 6lbs 10 ozs 19.7 inches
percentile: [10% weight and 53% height]

Little E: ?lbs ?ozs ? inches
percentile: [? %weight and ?% height]

I figured it might give me an idea of what to expect from "little E".

Lily was 36th% for weight (7lbs 2oz) and Abri was 50th% for weight (7lbs 8oz). Both girls were at 53rd% for height (19.5") at birth. Of course they shot right up to the 95th% pretty quick. I'm going to guess this little guy will be 19.5" since that seems to be all my kids grow to. He'll probably be similar in weight- the 7-7.5 pound range

At birth:
Jaleigh 7lbs 13oz (37th percentile) & 20 1/4in (79th percentile)
Kiefer 6lbs 12oz (10th percentile) & 20 1/2in (78th percentile)

Now:
Jaleigh *5 yrs 8 mo* 38lbs (18th percentile) & 42in (11th percentile).
Kiefer *28 months* 25lbs (7th percentile) & 33 1/4in (4th percentile)

Obviously my kids genetics took over at some point and their height and weight started more closely resembling ours (DF and I are both very small) I expect this baby to be similar in length but I have no idea on weight since there was a full pound difference between my other kids. I expect this baby to drop to the bottom of the growth charts pretty quickly, just like the other two.

I completely understand that. I'm not small but DH is VERY thin and average height. Both our daughters are a low percentile in weight and height and they take after him more. DD1 is 3rd% and DD2 is 13th% in weight. I'm only 5'4 but I'm still bigger boned and DS takes after me and is at an average percentile in height and a medium-low in weight.

DD at birth 9lbs(93rd%) 20.5 inches(85th%)

DD now= 35.5lbs(45th %) 42 inches(80th%)

I think these babies are going to be chunky for twins depending on how long they bake!
