I wanted to say thank you for the CD advice that some of you gave me! We have decided to give it a go with this one. I really had no idea what all of the options were. I had this idea in my head that cloth diapering was the very complicated thing my grandma did, but there are so many different styles out there! I am truly amazed and I had no idea. We are going with AI2s and are going to give Softbums a try. They also have one option that you can use as either a pocket or AI2, so we will try both options, but the pods for them work for both, so nothing should go to waste. DH actually jumped on board pretty quickly when he saw how easy it seems and I pointed out how much money we would be saving. We also like the idea of being able to throw them in the wash when we realize we're running low and not having to run to the 24 hour drug store at 10pm bc we ran out and didn't realize it. Don't think I would have even known where to start with my research without the info you all shared, so thanks so much!

Awesome!! Softbums seem very well loved by people who have them, I hope you love them too. It is really fun to get them in the mail and see how comfy and fluffy they are. Exciting!

This is one of the reason I went with them. Just about every review I saw on them was a rave, both on message boards I found via google and from bloggers.

Crawmommy, I got DH on board pointing out that it looked like about $1000 in savings for us (we PT early, so we won't get as much savings as other people) and he wouldn't have to run out at 10pm anymore when we realize we are out of diapers, thinking we had another box. With twins, your savings should double. Would that appeal to the logical man brain? DH thought I was nuts until he saw the AI2s. They look really easy and he thinks he can handle that. There is no way either one of us would have done prefolds with pins. The Soft Bums seem easy to use and adjust. Take a look and see what he thinks! GL!
