Just wondering what great deals on nursery items everyone has found to date?

For us:

I got to use our Kohl's coupon at our local baby store on our furniture, stroller, infant car carrier, and the bases for them. Saved huge

Then I really wanted the Pottery Barn Kids rose lamp shades (two of them - you know the ones that cost $99 each). Well I went to Hobby Lobby. They had decorative lamp shades(the shade is actual adhesive). Got it for $6 with coupon. Then got rose petals for $5 (another discount) - and the container is enough for two shades). The ribbon was on discount for $2.98. I am just waiting for the roses to come in from order and they will be $16 per shade. So I am thinking about $35 per shade. Did the rose petals last evening. Super easy. They look even better than the ones from PBK.

Stocking up on diapers with coupons and sales whenever I see them.

What about everyone else. I love getting a deal.

For us, the biggest deals come from shopping on Amazon.com and having the stuff shipped to DH's mom's house in Ohio. All of the big ticket items were nearly twice as expensive to purchase here in Canada as they are in the US. We ended up getting the crib with attached changing table and the crib mattress, the car seat and stroller, a really nice plug-in swing, and the Pack n' Play for $700 with free shipping. If we'd bought all that up here, the items alone would have cost nearly $1400 and shipping would have been astronomical.

Also, I caught the last day of a sale at a local furniture store and got an amazingly comfy recliner for the nursery for $299 instead of $599. Score!

We ordered our dresser and changing table from diapers.com Both were on sale and we spent about @$215 total. Free shipping and everthing we had looked at in the store was over $400-$500 for one item.

Got my Graco plug in swing on Amazon for $104.00 with shipping! $65.00 less than in stores... that was the only big purchase we needed to make for this babe

A local person is selling off her entire CD stash. I am picking up 3 Thirsties size 1 duo covers, 1 medium Thirsties wrap, and 9 kissaluvs fitted diapers for $65

hmmm... I got 6 diaper covers for $10 on ebay bc a seller messed up and ended up credited me back bc what I got and what I was suppose to get was different but it was in my favor. I also got a 2 ties & 2 newsboy hats at target for 90% off so I think they were around $3 total. I don't even know if I'm having boys but it was too cheap to pass up lol!
