For those of you ladies who don't mind sharing....how far along are you and how much weight have you gained? Also, howwas your weight pre-pregnancy, and what were you told was the proper amount for you to gain?
I feel like I am way, way over my mark. I started at 156lbs, and I am 5'7. Ideally, I should have only gained 25 to 35lbs. I'm 29 weeks and I have gained 40! I was 196 at the doctor's today :-( I'm worried that I may gain up to sixty, or more. Is there anything I can do to slow my weight gain a little? I drink a ton of water, and I really don't eat horribly, or any different than I did before I was pregnant. If anything I eat healthier, just more often. More fruit, more salad etc. Or is it just going to happen no matter what? Maybe I'm eating too many Oreos? I just feel gigantic.
I lost 16 in first 4 months because of lack of appetite. Since then, I have gained 6 lbs. So I'm still 10 lbs less than I was when I got pregnant. For my weight, I should gain 15-25 lbs. So, if I gain 20 lbs total, that would still only put me 4 lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight. Which is probably not going to happen. lol I figure I'll start packing the weight on soon.

Man....I wish I would have lost my appetite. I never once had that problem, or morning sickness! Lol maybe that's why I only gained and gained and gained.
I am only 4 foot 11...my pre-pregnancy weight was 114, and when I went to the Dr yesterday I got on the scale and saw 144. lol (I am currently almost 29 weeks)
The dr says Ideally I am to gain between 25-35 lbs...but he says I don't seem unhealthy or anything. I also lost about 6 pounds the first two or three months due to morning sickness...the WIC office gave me such crap about being 16 weeks and not having any weight gain...they don't say crap to me anymore! lol
I'm 28 1/2 weeks and I've only gained about 26lbs... I think as long as I don't get up to the 55 lbs I gained with DD, I'll be doing well. I started out at 179 and this morning I'm at 205.6.

I lost 10lbs at the beginning due to morning sickness. Even after that passed, I didn't gain anything until my 24 week appt and it was only 1lb. I haven't been back to the doctor for my 28 week appt because we moved and I need to get a new doctor after I get some medical assistance set up, but I got on the wii last night and it said that I gained another 3lbs. So 4lbs all together over my pre-pregnancy weight. Because I'm overweight, they only recommend 15-20lbs and I'm 29 weeks now. So I think I'm doing all right.
I'm up about 6 or 7 pounds so far, but I ended up losing quite a bit in the beginning. I'm heavier prepregnancy anyway, so I'm hoping to end up about +15-20 when all is said and done.

I started out at 255 and then lost 8lbs in my first trimester. I am 255 again at 29+weeks. Not bad! Not as impressive though as my first pregnancy. I was 274, lost 25lbs in the first trimester and then ended my pregnancy at 270. 2 weeks PP I was down to 236.
Due to breastfeeding I kept my weight to around the 235 mark but once breastfeeding ended, oh man

Started at 192 and now at 202. So, 10 lbs. I'm really hoping to not break past 210 lbs by the time baby comes but seeing as how the baby is already about 2 lbs (according to websites) then if I had an 8 pounder, these last 8 lbs would have to be all baby and fluid, so that's doubtful. I'll probably end up being 215 by then end with a 23-25 lb total weight gain like I was the last 2 pregnancies.
I started at 170 lbs with my first child, lost 10 lbs during the 1st trimester and gained back 65 lbs by the end. I was at 225 when she was born. And it was allll bc I gorged myself on whatever the heck I wanted to with reckless abandon.

Last time I checked I was up about 14lbs but I chose not to see what my weight was at my last appt and just asked the doctor how i was doing on my weight gain she said that I was doing great about a pound a week which is what I should be gaining at this point...
I figure as long as I stay healthy and watch what I eat as far as junk food goes and continue to at least walk for exercise I should be ok
I started out at 128. The last time I weighed myself was before my last appointment at 25 weeks. I had gained 12 pounds. Unfortunately, 5.5 of that was in the previous 4 weeks alone. My midwife was not happy with me for gaining that much in only 4 weeks. I'm supposed to gain 25-35, she tells me, but we talked about me trying to keep it to 20 like I did with my last pregnancy b/c I am a GD risk (bad family history and was borderline last time). I don't know if I can keep it to only 8 more pounds in 15 weeks, though. Stupid Valentine's Day candy...

I am up 20 lbs at 28 weeks. I started at 132, just weighed myself and I am at 152. Hopefully I can stay under the 35lb mark for the whole pregnancy! But we will have to see... sigh...

**Thank you Jaidynsmum for my AMAZING siggie!**
Im 26wks today and am up 20-21lbs, which im more than happy with. I think I gained that with DS in the 1st Tri alone and totally packed on all my weight in the 2nd, so Im hoping as I enter my 3rd soon it will slow down like it did him. My OB & I agreed to keep my weight at 25-30lbs total, so Im thinking I just might make it!

I'm 29 weeks and have gained 20 lbs so far...but all of that is in the last 3 months, so it feels like a lot! With my previous pregnancies, I gained 40 lbs. I was worried because I know the "recommended" amount to gain is up to 35, but my doctors said that since I was low to begin with, the extra 5 lbs wasn't a big deal.
