I don't complain too often but GOOD GRAVY!!! Does any man NOT pee all over the toilet?!!!! EVERY time I clean its not just on the toilet rim but down the FRONT of the toilet! I've asked nicely to aim more carefully and I've asked not so nicely. Neither way has worked. So STIKE I'm on! Ugh!!!! I feel better now, thanks for letting me get that off my chest!

I did text him regarding my strike and that toilet scrubbing classes will start next week.

DH pees sitting down at home. His momma taught him to. Bless that woman we will teach our son the same.

From what I understand, they can't actually control the flow that well usually (unless their bladder is super full or something), so with a normal toilet there is basically no way they will get it all perfectly in there. Peeing standing up is for outdoors or urinals.

Historical tidbit. It used to be the women were the ones who peed standing up. They had to hold their skirts up and off the ground, it worked better. Men had all their hose and pants and all to pull down and would pee sitting/squatting on a pot more easily. This is what I've heard anyway. I had a girlfriend in high school who always peed standing up and claimed to have perfect aim but I never personally confirmed it

Ugh! Kevin sits down usually. I get mad when I can hear "pee splattering" and I can tell he's standing up. I think it's just that men think they're done before they stop dribbling and it ends up going over the front edge and down. Good idea on the toilet scrubbing classes! Maybe he'll start sitting down after he cleans his pee off the toilet!

My DH pees standing up and never gets pee down the front of the toilet. He also wipes the ring to make sure no splatters happened and he always puts both seats down. Ive never had any complaints about my DHs toilet ettiquette. His mama taught him well. He also cleans both our bathrooms without having to be asked so I never have to clean bathrooms.

This is the same with my DH. Although he's very cocky about the accuracy of his aim. He keeps trying to convince me we'll save time if we just go at the same time, he says he could make it between my legs no problem. I refuse to let him test out that theory though. I do feel very lucky that it's been years since I've had to scrub a toilet though

My husband has fairly good aim. My 5 year old on the other hand is hit or miss. Just wait until those little boys are using the toilets ladies.

I don't clean toilets! lol I don't pee on the seat or blow up the toilet therefore I do not clean it

Both my 12 year old and my 36 year old (haha) both do all the toilet scrubbing in this house, so it doesn't bother me. And they put the seat down about 90% of the time too.

I will raise holy hell if my butt touches cold toilet water in the middle of the night because one of them leaves the seat up.

I think that has happened twice in 10 years.

DH has good aim so I don't think I have ever had an issue with pee getting everywhere.. Now lets fast forward through the next few years so both my little boys will be potty trained and we will be good in that department!

Oh geez... When dh and I moved in together I let him know that I've spent my whole life sharing a bathroom with my brothers and I've been the only one that cleaned all the pee off of everything, because it does get EVERYWHERE. I told him that in our bathroom he has to sit down and pee. If he wants to stand up, he can use the hall bathroom, but he has to clean it. He doesn't stand up to pee anymore, unless he's been drinking and then he just stands up out in the backyard. After the first mis-aim while indulging in alcohol beverages I banned him peeing in the house. I just really can not stand a nasty bathroom. Reading through this I feel like a major b***h, but I just can't stand it at all.
