So I made a couple posts earlier about how my boobs be leaking and all that after showers and baths. So I shower alot....or rather...I shower once than ever other "shower"...I basically just stand under the hot water in peace and go "aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh" for a while.
But anyways, I get out of the shower last night and dry off and crawl onto the bed where DH is sitting playing Call of Duty. I haven't pulled on any clothes yet, but I break out my kindle and start reading. I have a cat, his name is Batman and he likes to sleep with us until we get tired of not being able to move our legs and kick him off the bed. So I'm petting him, still reading my book and the little freaking weirdo leans his down and licks a drop of breast milk off my nipple.
I was so mortified I kicked the little pervert out of my room and quickly put clothes on.
I have a cat named Hazel that is unusually attached to me ever since I bottle fed her and hand raised her from 3 weeks old. As soon as I get in bed every night, she starts making biscuits all over my neck and chest. She has done this since she was a baby. However, now that I'm pregnant, she won't leave my boobs alone. She makes biscuits all over them and even buries her face in my boob like she's trying to nurse or something. It's disturbing. Everytime I push her off, she gripes at me and becomes even more persistent about getting face deep in my boobs.
My kitties are pretty bad about being near my stomach and boobs too when I am pregnant. It perplexed me why they are extra lovey to me so I did some research and read that both male and females can smell hormonal changes in us while pregnant and can smell it often before we even know we are pregnant...which explains why mine were extra lovey even before i tested. Both cat sexes know this hormonal trigger means a baby and female cats will purr frequently while pregnant and when their babies are young as a bonding and communicating way with them. Also cats can purr different resonances that is said to stimulate healing and even growth in their young. So our kitties are just extra lovey on us cuz they know the hormonal changes mean babies and they feel that they need help out or something. Lol and as I type this one of my girls is laying across my stomach LOUDLY purring for all shes worth while Tristan kicks and bounces around inside lol
My cat has been extra clingy to me from the beginning. I had a feeling that IVF had worked before I knew because he was always in my lap purring. He loves to lay on my belly.
That's hilarious. My girl cat is driving me nuts with being on my stomach. She won't leave me alone. It's been like this since I found out I was pregnant (or maybe before) and I don't usually want her added weight on top of me! But when I throw her off, she comes right back. It's like she's a magnet. My boy cat however, he could care less.
