So who here will be cooking on Easter? What will you be making? Are you gonna have a dinner or brunch?
Im cooking for my whole family and I still havent decided what to make..but Id like to do something besides the traditional ham or turkey.
We usually do Easter dinner with traditional ham.. but this year my daughter is going to be with her dad and his family for Easter Dinner. So, we are thinking about doing Easter brunch. Haven't decided exactly what we are going to make yet though! Besides lots and lots of eggs. I am pretty sure my kids will be filling my fridge with dyed eggs lol
We aren't planning to do anything. When we lived near family we would do Easter dinner with my in-laws. Last year we went out on a boat to the little island here, and did an Easter picnic with friends. Not sure what we're doing this year. Probably nothing.
Usually, I host dinner for my parents, my 25 year old sister and her boyfriend, my grandparents, at my house. All the while, I have to go celebrate in the morning with dh's family at their church and then stay for their brunch. I have to prep it all beforehand, and then rush home to get it ready. This year, I have hosted the last SEVERAL family dinners/birthdays and my birthday is on the 29th. SO, I am HOPING that my parents will host this year so I don't have to do everything myself. We'll see...
We don't have any family close by so it will be just us. Usually I do a ham or leg of lamb, but I'm not eating red meat right now, so I might do turkey dinner. I don't know, it also depends on when/if DH will make it home in time.

I will be going with my parents and little one to the country club we are members at, for brunch and then have an easter egg hunt. Baskets are always waiting in the morning downstairs.
If we were home with family, we'd do big family bbq/easter eggs and all. But here its just us so nothing big...we'll still get him an Easter basket but actually my BFF and her family will be here visiting so I'm thinking we'll end up doing brunch and easter egg hunt at the house for the babies.
