Sorry I have been MIA these past two weeks. Trying to get used to the bed rest thing. I have been to L&D three times now. Luckily baby is still hanging in there and growing. Most recent visit on Tuesday they gave me Terbutaline to stop the contractions and it worked however it caused a seizure like episode for me so my DH and I agreed we will not take that again. I felt awful afterwards for a good day.

Had appt with high risk dr on Wednesday and all was great. Cervix is 3.5cm where it should be and baby is measuring a week ahead weighing in at 2 lbs3 oz. Still super stubborn and refuses to give us a good profile pic but we got a quick shot of baby's face. I do have a higher than normal level of fluid so I did my glucose test and awaiting those results to see if there is any GD. I didn't have that with my other 2 pregnancies so I am pretty sure it will come out negative.

I was attempting to return to work on Monday but I tried being up for a few hours today sitting up and ran a quick errand to the store for 20 minutes to get Easter stuff. Bad idea as the contractions increased and the pressure in my pubic area was intense. The nurse laughed when I called her and said she was expecting my call today because she didn't think going back was a good idea. I think bed rest deludes you into thinking you are fine and can return to normal stuff but the reality is the bed rest is keeping you feeling good. So I am down for the count until this baby makes its appearance which will hopefully be in June.

Thanks for letting me go on and on. I am going to try and be on here more and more, just have to get my bed rest routine down.

I'm glad you updated!! Try not to do too much. I know at some point on bed rest you'll want to get back to normal, but try to just take it one day at a time.

Stay in bed and rest rest rest for baby. Hope baby stays in till june. Keep us updated on how you and baby are doing.

Thanks for the update. I did the same with ds was on bedrest for a month thought all was ok then went back to work for a wk a d ended up be right back on bedresr it sux but baby will be here before u know it!!!

Sounds like your cervix length is great. Hang in there. It is hard although worth it. I went into PT at around where you are. Complying with doc orders is not an easy thing. Here is the good part. Our child was born at nearly 38 week. I took him home right at 48 hours (labor was a little quick and I never got a full dose of antibiotics. I then had to wait to go home for exactly 48 hours). He was 7 pounds and 8 ounces. Just like he should be doing he is actively driving Dad crazy lots of days

Wow...sending good thoughts and vibes baby stays put and keeps baking! Also good thoughts to you, as I can't imagine how hard having to be on bedrest must be...stir crazy comes to mind! GL and glad to hear all is OK for now.

Glad to hear that you and baby are hanging in there! Hoping that baby stays put until June. Sorry that you are stuck on bedrest, though. I definitely have felt that pain. It sucks! Hang in there, and thanks for the update!
