Are any of you taking prenatals yet? My OB gave me some when we told him we were TTC so I would have them when I got my BFP. I have never been able to take the ones they prescribe (they made me sick) and have always ended up take Flinstones Complete vitamins. The ones he gave me are new and they are smaller then most. They are called VitaFol-One. I've been taking them in the morning and so far no problems

Those vitamins are fine, but you NEED to start taking Folic acid ASAP. Folic acid is what prevents spina bifida and other spinal cord issues.

The prenatals I'm taking now have folic acid in them (just looked to be sure) as do the Flinstones vitamins. I think that if they were not ok that my OB wouldn't have given them to me

I agree that Folic Acid is important

Yup!! I've been taking them since I started TTC. I've been on them for like a year now. I just take OTC ones.

I ordered the Nature Made kind, should arrive today. I'll probably get some fish oil supplements for omega 3's, too.

I'm taking the Similac combo ones. It's one vitamin with the normal prenatal stuff, and another with fish oil and other stuff.

EdgeofElise, if you find that you can taste the fish oil ones when you burp sometimes *gag*, put them in the freezer and swallow them frozen. You won't burp them up anymore.
