Will somebody please explain to my brain that I don't need to obsessively research newborn diapers and purchase them immediately and that eating ice cream and watching tv is preferable? Calm down, you're seven minutes pregnant. GEEZ.

Nooo, now it's 9 minutes pregnant... you're TOTALLY fine.

I sooo get it, and understand. It's just wicked exciting to start planning and buying. I've been looking through the Old Navy website at baby clothes already. I might have bought something, too.

I was looking at changing tables online because I need one for downstairs.....and stopped myself. LOL We tried to get pregnant for almost 2 years....I'm still in disbelief about the whole thing to be honest. I go again for another ultrasound tomorrow (first one at 4 weeks 4 days didn't show anything but my hcg wasn't high enough yet doc said) so fingers crossed something shows up tomorrow.

My new rule is I'm not allowed to buy anything for the baby until we hear a heartbeat (we don't do an u/s until the gender scan @20 weeks, but the midwives can get a heartbeat on the doppler at about 10-11 weeks.) However, that doesn't mean I can't buy things for myself...lol. I got this skirt on modcloth today in a size large; the elastic waist should give it enough stretch to fit over my belly.

You are definitely nuts... lol Just kidding.

I'm too nervous to start shopping. This is my first pregnancy and I don't think I'll feel comfortable until I'm at least 12 weeks.
