Does anyone have a specific birth plan?

I have to have a repeat c-section due to other health issues. This will be my 3rd c-section.

I'm hoping to deliver in a local birth center with a midwife (recently decided to switch from my OB), and I'm hoping for a natural water birth.

I would love a natural birth but due to a liver condition it is best for me to have a c-section. My mom had me and my brother both naturally within 17 months of each other.

Natural water birth at home with a midwife. I'm so excited for it!

I would love to have a water birth but live out in the middle of cornfields and the hospital we are going to is 30 mins away and they don't offer it Most likely I will deliver at 37 weeks (both DS and DD were born then) due to preeclampsia and swelling. Most likely induced

Unless we have reason to change our minds, we are probably going to have another homebirth, probably unassisted.

Man, I admire all of you who are planning on natural births! I, however, will gladly accept the epidural at the hospital. I don't think I could do it without one!

I'm going for a VBAC. Insurance doesn't cover it at home and due to liability I can't have the baby at a birth center, so I'll labor at home as long as I can with my midwives and then transfer to the hospital for the delivery (the hospital is right up the street; five minute drive tops.) My fear is that if I go to the hospital too early I'll be put on the clock and end up with another c-section if my labor goes too long. Labor with DD was over 60 hours before we decided it just wasn't going to progress anymore and it was time to get her out. I have a feeling that even if this baby is able to descend (I had too much fluid with DD and she wasn't putting enough pressure on my cervix to dilate) it'll be another long labor. I'm pumped for it, though. And this time I don't have my heart set on a water birth at home with candles and perfect ambiance...I just want a healthy baby. And I really don't want to take 17 weeks to recover from surgery again, but I will if I have to.

My plan is to give birth naturally at a birthing center. I don't know if I'll do a water birth yet.

I never thought I could either until with my daughter I had no choice.

Our plan is another home birth. I would like a water birth this time.

I would love love to try this birth natural but at a hospital. I tried natural with my last birth 12 years ago and I didn't do so well I envy all you strong women!

I will be giving birth in a hospital, hopefully without any meds like my last birth!

I was planning a homebirth my last pregnancy, I miscarried at 12 weeks.
Now, H is not comfortable with anything less than a hospital. I have NO idea how he connects those two things in his head, since it's all unrelated.. I think he's just nervous. We did so much research last time, he knows homebirths can be totally safe (if not more safe than a hospital) but for some reason, he's just freaked out now.

So, it'll be a hospital. But my birth still matters to me a great deal, and I definitely want to avoid meds.

Haven't decided whether I want to try to VBAC or repeat CS. Either way I'll have to be in a hospital because of other medical conditions.
