Reading intros it seems there are a lot of us here who are expecting after a recent loss. It really is a difficult situation to be in, so how is everybody handling it?

We had a loss in July at 12 weeks, and I'm just not relaxing into this. I know I'm pregnant, but I don't know if I believe we will be having a baby. I got my first bfp at only 9dpo, second bfp at 11dpo, then some light spotting Friday night and Saturday evening. It's difficult to feel like we can't celebrate or share the news at all.

I'm pretty nervous and on edge, I still don't let myself think I will get to take a baby home in June yet!! Kinda like just waiting for another loss, which sucks. I lost my little one in August at almost 12 weeks, so we've got a long road ahead of us yet!

I got my first bfp at 9dpo as well, so it seems way too soon to even know that I'm preggy yet!! I'm half expecting AF tomorrow!!

Hugs! I am trying not to get too excited but it is hard not too. I think I will calm down a little once I hear the heartbeat.

I had a chemical pregnancy at a little over 5 weeks in June. I feel a little numb to the pregnancy- like I'm not really 'acknowledging' it yet. I think I will be much happier once I *hopefully* see the hb next week.

I cannot imagine what you ladies have gone through, losing later pregnancies. I am wishing everyone a happy and complication-free pregnancy.

The pregnancy before this one was my rainbow baby and I didn't enjoy any of it. I just worried the whole time. This time around, I'm trying to just enjoy the moment and remind myself that no matter what happens, right now I'm pregnant.

I also feel nervous because I had bleeding for four days but it stopped a week ago and tests are getting darker. I'll feel better too after seeing the first ultrasound.

This.
I'm really trying not to think about it much. Sometimes that's impossible, and I find myself thinking- but for the most part, I'm avoiding that and trying to remain positive.
I had a loss at 12 weeks last year, this is my first pregnancy since then.
I'm also the opposite of most people who have had one, it seems. Rather than keep it inside "in case" I'm telling people, in case. The support I had through my loss was AMAZING and if that should ever happen again (sigh), I want that same support. So, I'll be announcing soon to most people.

I am in the same boat. I had one loss 4 months ago. I was a wreck for the first week this time, but I've relaxed a lot. I'm just trying to take it easy and realize that there is really nothing I can do but hope to see a strong heartbeat at my first appointment next week. I still worry when I get cramping, but not nearly as bad as I was when I first got my BFP.

I'm thinking this way as well this time! With my loss we hadn't told anyone, and it felt worse honestly, because I had no support and kinda felt like I was walking around hurting and no one even knew I had lost a baby!

I'm in the same boat. I had a lost in February and in June. I'm trying to stay positive and let God handle it. I worry when there is spotting. I worry when I feel good one day. I worry at every pain I get. I didn't get any support from my family either time. No one called to see how I was doing. My mom said she couldn't understand because she never wanted to be pregnant each time she was (wth?!?!?). My work friends are the only people who know now, and they are my prayer warriors. I won't tell my family until December.

Sending you all kinds of positive thoughts!! Just try and think good thoughts. I know that's so much easier said than done, but I really do believe that it helps.

I am here after 6 losses all together my most recent was 9-13-2012. I feel the same way yet I know i am pg but not sure i will get to bring a baby home. I just hate this early stage. I will be a little less on edge once I make it to my first us and there is a hb. Hang in there. I also had a loss @ 12 weeks.

I had a chemical in July 2008. They confirmed it was a chemical in 7/23/2008, I conceived DS 7/31/2008 and delivered him exactly 40 weeks later on 4/23/2009. In November 2009 I conceived again, seperated from my husband in december 2009 and got my BFP 1/8/2010. That angel baby went back to be with God 2/23/2010 at 15 weeks. I was devastated. After a year and a half of counseling I was finally able to talk about the experience. I am so afraid something will happen but I am looking at it the same way most of you are. I am pregnant right now, I will enjoy it and pray everyday that I get to hold this baby in June!!! June sounds like a pretty good month to have a birthday!! Wishing you all the best of luck. Hoping we all finish the pregnancy journey and move into motherhood together!
