I feel like this would bother me even if I werent pregnant and hormonal but Im afraid of overreacting. My pregnant hormones just want to scream at this girl but my rational brain says dont do that. Shes telling my daughter she's ugly, has an ugly voice, shes stupid and now shes trying to get my daughters friends to not sit by her, talk to her, or be friends with her because shes dumb and ugly. Did I mention my daughter is only in KINDERGARTEN?!?!?!?! How is a five year old so nasty and mean? Ugh...I would be pissed anyway but my hormones are making me a cry-my-eyes-out, weepy, hormonal mess. /rant
also, I want to post pictures but I dont have 10 posts, which made me mad because i had to create a photobucket account and then the pictures wouldnt upload from fb so I had to save them to my computer, then upload them, then my browser crashed and I had to do it all again. Grrr. /rant for real this time
You have 10 posts now so you can post pictures! Hugs! My son is in kindergarten as well and within the first few days my son came home and said there are some mean kids that are 6 they dont want to play with baby 5 year olds. Well it made one of the other kids cry so my son told him dont cry we dont want to play with them anyways they are being mean. I dont think you are overreacting I think if it continues you need to talk to the teacher. Bullying no matter the age is unacceptable and I am sorry your daughter is going through it!
Im speaking with her teacher tomorrow. I tried to let it go at first, thinking it was the first week of school, they're five, they'll be friends in a week. But we're a month into school now and its gotten progressively worse. Last week L came home with a bloody knee because this girl ripped a pegboard (the ones you use rubberbands to make pictures on) from L's hands while she was squatting, causing L to fall forward as the pegboard fell to the floor. L fell on the peg board and two of the pegs went into her knee, puncturing the skin and cutting her leg. When I asked L what her teacher said, she said she didnt see it. There was dried blood on my childs knee, she was wearing shorts, how did that go unnoticed? Ugh, Im so irritated and bawl-y, lol.
