I know delivery is faaaar off but anyone have an experience with, or advice on, VBACs? I had an emergency c-section with my DD (had completely planned on natural childbirth) and I'm just not sure which way to go this time. I'm already familiar with the c-section route...and there's something comforting in familiarity. I'll be delivering on a military installation so I'm not even sure if I'll have the choice but I'm looking to arm myself with information.

thanks ladies!

Acog has ruled that vbacs are perfectly safe. I'm not sure which military hospital you will be at but the ones we have lived by support vbacs. It may also depend on why you had a c/s.

No experience, but I'll definitely be trying for a natural VBAC this time. There were a lot of weird reasons why my labor stalled and DD couldn't descend; I'm hoping it was circumstantial and this one will go more smoothly. I hope it's an option for you!
