Is it too soon to do the baking soda gender test? I was curious so I did it tonight. It didn't fizz. Which would point to my gut feeling that it's a girl...

Found this: "So you put a teaspoon of baking soda in a cup then put a little bit of pee in the cup, and if it sizzles, it's a boy, and if it does nothing, it's a girl! Supposedly your urine is more acidic if you're carrying a boy, (hence the sizzling action) and more alkaline if you're carrying a girl."

Think I'll try it today.

Ooh! Good question! The girls in my son's PR that have already had new LO's have all done that and I think it was about 75% right!

I think one has to wait until they're 6 weeeks along though so I guess I have to wait a week. Maybe I'll do it today and then again in a week and see if there's a difference.

It was right 50% of the time for me, ha ha.
I did it with one of my kids, and it said girl one week, then boy the next.
