It's 8 am here. I ate a healthy fruit salad for breakfast but now I want coffee. We have those little Hagen Dasz containers and I have four that are coffee flavored and I'm tempted to eat them all lol! I tried decaf with my last pregnancy and yuck! If I crave coffee this much the remainder of this pregnancy, it's going to be a long 9 months.
I am also having a coffee aversion. I was a regular coffee drinker. Usually one or two cups in the AM, and one or two in the afternoon. Now I can't even make a pot of coffee without being completely queasy. I occasionally can get one small cup down at work because I don't have to smell it, but even that turns my stomach.
I am not a coffee fan, and never drink it, but with my DS I was at Mickey D's at least once a week for the iced mocha coffees. So not only was I craving it, but I was craving the billion calorie, going straight to your hips kind of coffee! This time around I am having a coca-cola craving. I think it is along the same line.. sugar and caffeine, but trying to resist!
JaxonJocelyn Gabriel Grayson and due in September!
I have been having one cup of regular coffee in the morning... trying hard to avoid all caffeine... here lately the one cup in the morning has been making me terribly sick. it did with my other pregnancies too. i gues it's nature's way of weeding out the bad stuff
I'm a coffee addict, at least 2-3 cups a day! I think I cut back to one per day with Connor, with an occasional half caff for a 2nd cup. We have a keurig now and I looked up the amount of caffeine in one k-cup, and I'm comfortable having 2 cups a day now. I probably won't have 2 every day, but at least I know if/when I need a 2nd cup, it's not that much caffeine per cup!
