I think once they get to be about as dark as the control line, it could be a difference in the tests themselves or how diluted your urine is. HPTs aren't so great at telling "how" pregnant you are. Have you gotten your betas checked? That line is still so dark it doesn't seem like anything to worry about to me.

I wouldn't worry based on this, both lines are still awfully dark and even if the most recent one is lighter it could just be because that one test was weird or maybe because your urine was a little more diluted that time.

They look the same to me too. My line didn't darken very much but I had a beta done and it said my number had doubled so the darkness of the line obviously didn't mean much. I know the feeling though, you just want to see darker lines.

Can I just comment on how organized you must be to have dated labels on your pregnancy tests?

I bet that the line is just different from test to test once they get that dark. I did a frer one day apart and the second one's lines were thinner and lighter even the control. I think it was just that the test was a little different.

Your lines look good! I think you are fine.
Do you have reason to be worried besides the lines? Once mine got as dark as control, they pretty much have stayed the same.

Even the same brand of test can be inconsistent with the amount of dye it contains. Also, depending on how hydrated you are, your urine could be more or less concentrated. A positive is a positive is a positive. Congrats!

I wouldn't worry much unless a dark line turns back to a light line! Once mine got as dark as the control, they didn't get any darker and I can't tell them apart anymore. Try not to worry

Please take this as nice as I could possibly say this. Step away from the tests. The darkness of the line can be lighter or darker based on several different factors. How much dye is in the test, how diluted your urine is, pregnancy tests are just a yes or a no not an actual amount. Those lines are beautiful. Try to not stress over them.

Thanks Ladies. As far as real concerning reasons are my test line was darker than the control line @18 dpo with my last pg. Also I have seen this start to happen before with me and then I mc shortly after As far as reassuring things my temps are still up there and no significant drops, no cramps or any thing yet. Very creamy streachy cm.

lol I like to save them so I keep them dated so I know the dates when I took them and it also allows me to look at them later on for future pgs as a reference to say okay this pg stuck and this one seems like it is on track. Speaking of which I should pull out my 18 Dpo test with suzie and compare it.

Those tests could still have been darker for several reasons more dye more concentrated pee. I know that frer and answers have changed a lot too so that could also have something to do with it.
